Coming SoonComing Soon

I have been making beads, lampwork beads for almost a year after several years of making one of a kind jewellery. I am a registered Self Representing Artist No.W61 and SRA Jewellery Designer, member 1567. So far my lampworking skill are self taught but I was very excited to be taking my first course with Diana East and Sally Carver,  in April this year. As a lampworker I use a Hothead torch and a tank of propane to melt rods of Italian, American and German glass.

To form my art beads I then wrap this molten glass around a mandrel to form one of a kind jewellery components.

I am planning to film some short lampworking tutorials for YouTube in the near future, to share my love of fire and glass, so watch this space.  I currently live in Middlesex and have a small studio where I create glass beads. The process of annealing removes stresses created during the forming and shaping process. It gives the finished glass strength and durability that with care means that my beads will last a lifetime. I accept custom orders to make jewellery and am beginning to incorporate my own glass work into my new designs.
